 We have a 30 hr/week farm worker position available. Applicant needs to be between 15-30 years of age as this job is partially funded through a Canada Summer Jobs Grant.
We are looking for someone who is hard working, able to work on tasks independently and has a positive attitude. Applicant needs to be physically able to lift 40+ lbs, and do repetitive tasks such as kneeling, squatting and bending. In other words, the applicant needs to be physically able to meet the demands of daily farmwork. While the job will involve working in all aspects of our farm (weeding, harvesting, market days, etc) it will also include a lot of washing bins and behind the scenes cleaning (also farming).
