We realize that consistency and dependability is so important and we've come up with a schedule that we think that we can maintain for the season. This offers you two different ways to access our vegetables in hopes of dispersing traffic in the barn on Tuesdays. We'll also have veggies at our roadside stand as available.
Starting in June: Saturday: receive our newsletter (if you're not signed up for this, head to our home page and fill out the sign up form) Tuesday: farm market open in our barn from 11:00-6:00 Wednesday: pick up for online orders

It's been so good to reconnect with many of you as you've come by to pick up your salad boxes. I appreciate hearing little snippets of your life; how you're coping with COVID life, how you've been affected at work, what inspired you, what exhausted you. Thank you for sharing these pieces of your day with me. Some of you are teachers who are heading into many unknown waters and feeling anxious about what lies ahead, some are feeling energized by new experiences, some anticipating changes as you welcome babies into this world, some feeling the boom of a business that has done well and carried on during COVID, some are coping with the loss of employment and some living with the heaviness that has come with this pandemic. I am hopeful that we can continue to navigate through this pandemic in ways that feel safe. We are continuing to grow you fresh, seasonal produce and we think you're going to love eating our veggies once again. Can't wait to see you come to the barn again - physically distanced of course!
Options to get our veggies during this season: - buy a weekly salad box (and when available, meal box) through our online store - come to our Tuesday market (folks will be allowed into the barn (5 at a time) - buy your veggies through the A Rocha CSA (shares are sold out for this year) - our roadside stand will continue to have veggies as available At this point, we are going ahead with plans to open our Tuesday market in June. We feel that we can do this safely and offer you the amazing, fresh and local vegetables that you love. Some things will be different, though (as everyone is so terribly familiar with).
As restrictions shift we will make shifts as well. Thank you for all your understanding and support during this time. We really value being a neighbourhood farm and have felt your support during these months as we gear up for a bountiful harvest season. |
